Dr Michael D’Angelica

Dr Michael D’Angelica received his medical degree from Tufts University in 1993 and subsequently completed training in general surgery at the University of Connecticut in 2000. He has completed research and clinical fellowships in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Dr D’Angelica is currently an associate attending surgeon at MSKCC on the Hepatopancreatobiliary service and an associate professor of surgery at Cornell University. His principal research interests are in the biology and treatment of hepatobiliary malignancy and has specific interests in biomarkers and clinical trial development. He has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and reviews as well as lectured extensively throughout the world on this topic. view webcast...
